After a tough season in 2006/7 the Revolution are now looking forward to getting everyone healthy and having team ready to make waves in Division One.

From the outset, key players and the new Coach Shane Johnston have made it clear that anything short of the championship would be a disappointing season, but unfortunately it wasn't going to happen this season.

Season 2007 / 2008

The team returned back into Division One of the Exeter and District League where they believed they were in with a real chance. After struggling at times in the previous season, and growing as a team because of some tough times, the Revolution core of players truly believed that with the talent they had on the team winning the league was achievable as long as the players work hard and play to their potential. Unfortunately due to some injuries to big men and some team chemistry issues, as well as a new Coach learning the ropes a little, the title remained out of reach.

The team had it's chances to make waves in the Cup as well, with a strong first round against a Bridport squad. Unfortunately meeting Torbay straight afterwards and not playing their best didn't help their chances, and they bowed out of the competition early.

The Revolution was joined by many new faces in this season, and all were keen to train hard and contribute on the court when called upon. The new Coach helped to enforce a re-focussed attitude in the club, and despite some difficult times during the year, Shane Johnston gained some truly valuable experience.

The roster included familiar faces Marc Eggleton, Brett Cooper, Ben Thompson, John Grounds and Gabriel Carrillo. Matt Acott returned to the line up as well, as did 2006 new arrivals Rich Nelsey and Stephen Evans. New players for this season also included Ben Waterman, Graham Brown and Paul Glaeser. See the Player Profile section of the site for more details on the individuals.
