From the Winter of 2009 Taunton Revolution Basketball will be launching their Junior Development Programme.

This will be supported by various local business sponsors such as ADK Ltd Web Design, Pitman Training, Soul Planet, and 10 Actions Business Development specialists. The programme will also be supported and part funded by Sports Match and England Basketball.

The programme will work with Grass Roots basketball development in the area primarily aimed at 14-19 year old male and female players. The Revolution will have England Basketball Qualified coaching staff leading the sessions, and training activities and development programmes will be led by and affiliated to England Basketball as well as being FIBA approved where applicable.

We will be interacting with local schools, local authorities and other educational establishments in the area to promote entry into the sport, and through our Men's team can provide up and coming players with a clear path. The aim is for everyone to have an opportunity to learn, be active and of course enjoy playing basketball.
